MOUNTAIN FUJI CLIMBING JOURNEY
Mount Fuji is believed to protect Japanese people and bring them luck and good things as a "spiritual Mountain".
Conquering the mountain is considered as a sacred activity everybody should try at least once in their life.
Climbers often begin their journey in the afternoon, through the night, and see the first sunlight on top of the mountain.
Despite the steep slopes, beginners can also keep up thanks to direction signs and vendor huts along the route. Nevertheless, preparing well to cope with unexpected weather changes is always needed.
It is quite hard and dangerous to climb the mountain, but worth being proud and remembering when we conquer ourselves, not the mountain.
