Travel in Yokohama
Yokohama, a vibrant city with many favorite areas like Chinatown, Red Brick Warehouse, pasta museum and many other destinations is the second largest city of Japan.
You can experience a lot of interesting things in one day.
Arrive at Minato Mirai station in the morning, towards the gate no. A5 to see the beautiful Landmark Tower from the bridge above, then take a walk to the harbor direction towards Red Brick Warehouse – interesting commercial building which was renovated from a warehouse.
In the afternoon, as you stroll through Sankeien Garden, a charming traditional Japanese-style garden about 17.5ha and opened since 1904, you can enjoy the historical houses and seasonal beauty.
Next, take a bus to Yokohama Chinatown right in the city center. This is the largest Chinatown in Japan and don't forget to enjoy delicious dishes like nikuman (dumplings) sanma-men (Chinese style noodles). You can also visit museums which was founded by Nissin Food Company for showing the history of instant noodles.
The evening is the time to watch the harbor at night. On the 69th floor of the Landmark Tower building with an elevation of 296m, you will see the 360-degree panoramic view of Yokohama port city at night, which is sparkling and brilliant.
