VREC is the first project that I worked as an employee of Obayashi Vietnam, so it could be said that this construction project is the starting milestone of my career. It was ironic that I was supposed to work at VREC only 2 month-probation period, but somehow I kept working to fill in for my instructor, known as Mr. Aluminum, until the completion date. Although VREC is coming to completion at the first day I was there, I was able to absorb a lot of new knowledge as well as to understand the true meaning of the saying “The devil is in the detail”. My time at VREC was exhausting at some point dealing with hectic work schedule and a huge amount of paper work (also the relationship strengthening gathering with our sub-contractors), but after this period I finally realize I don’t belong to the office yet the site.
